Green Harvest - D.E.A. style ?
#1
Passing through Kurtistown today( or as we now call it K-town) ,we viewed the helicopters and the guys repelling down to investigate.
This was our first time to see the enforcement in action. So it was interesting to watch.

I saw them today cruising to the makai end of Hawaiian Shores. I thought funding to Green Harvest was cut off? Who's paying for the helicopter gas?
Time is an illusion, but a handy one. Without it, we would not be able to hear sounds, and without that ability, we would have no music.

I'm guessing the are in an envy game over the Kauai bust.
They were very active on the Hamakua coast this AM.

it's nothing but (il)legal terrorism by our government against it's own citizens

Was it the bright yellow and silver helicopters? I think the silver one is privately owned and hired out.

Yellow was involved , and I believe a single black.

I still don't get how they get away with flying over residential areas. It's a huge nuisance! A couple of times I've been on the phone with clients and had to call them back because the #$@*!-ing helecopters came so close I couldn't even hear. Unfortunately, in my neck of lower Puna it has become a common occurence. I don't agree with the current drug policies, but even so, I say law enforcement needs to find some other way to do their job. I wonder how many times gated communities in Kohala have been buzzed by green harvest...Hmmmmm.....

The funding that was cut was mainly for hiring out private helicopters. The black one I believe is DEA. Greenharvest still has lots of money to fly their own helicopters.
