If you could look through a window with others eyes, you'd see clearly, those things you can't see through your own.
The Syns of amerika? all 7
1. Gluttony, Well SUPERSIZE me, McHeartattack,Thanksgiving? more food consumed in one day for what, a story? while 3/4 of the world eats what?
2. Greed, More is better, He who has all the gold makes all the rules? Capitalism, Sucess, Conspicous consumption, Madison Ave. Black Friday? Buy-Sell. Buy-Sell. Walmart.
3. Lust. Well if Sex doesn't sell everything in america I don't know whay does? Quality?, no. "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor? Nuf said.
4. Anger. Well, WAR?, retaliation, agression in the name of "american interests", for those which don't even have children in the fight?
5. Pride. If ya ain't PROUD to be an american boy, then leave the country. Pride is SO damn american. Ye ha! Patriotism, Ethnocentricity?
6. Envy. Well keepin up with the Jones's, and competion to be better, bigger, winners, more important, richer, enviably americans?
7.Sloth. Which I include Apathy as well. Couch potato, beer drinkin, big screen addicted, fake pepperoni pizza drippin, super bowl watchin, 65% of the obeese population?
Pretty glaringly clear if you're able to take yourself out of the box and look back inside, this is what you'd see.
IMO
What's your flavor? Food for thought.

Ah, Fireant, how your bite doth sting.
Obviously a typo.
And 'amerika'--that's the radical spelling which implies that our beloved country has a strong history (and present) of subversive, corrupt, imperialistic, nasty behavior. (See overthrows of democratic governments, i.e. Salvador Allende in Chili.)
We love our country, but those with the money and power have done dastardly things around the world all in our name.
Is America bi-polar? Yes!
We stole Hawaii from the Hawaiians, too, don't you know.

Quite true but not strictly Amerikan. Remember the following?
Genghis Khan
The vikings
Virtually all the medieval and renaissance Popes and kings
Mohammed (read his history. It's got it all)
Shaka Zulu
The middle eastern Biblical Kingdoms
The Egyptian Dynasties
The Plains Indians
The Aztecs
The Incas
The Mayans
The original Crossers of the Bering Strait(they destroyed an entire ecosystem)
the original Australian Aborigines 50,000 years ago( they also destroyed an entire ecosystem)
ditto the Maori in New Zealand
Ditto the original Hawaiians
And lastly but not least
King Kamahameha
Blood, sex, war, greed, lust etc at all too human.
Buddha teaches us to put these aside.
Peace be unto you.

Actually, there are lots of countries not just Russia where they spell this country as A-M-E-R-I-K-A.

Caroann I'm not slinging mud just merely stating observations , obviously foriegn to you.
I love this country, this planet and this island. The people that inhabit them, I sellect one at a time. It's hard to love all mankind when they're so violent. I love all womenkind!
My dad said," you can't pick your brothers and sisters, but you can your friends so do so wisely."
The whole toilet paper fake shortages? You should research Daniel K. Ludwig., TIME article. During the supposedly, toilet paper shortage, when? the 70's. You may not remember.
Talk about amerikan know. He built a 10 story pulp and paper mill in Japan on a barge. Towed it down around the cape up the Amazon a thousand miles and sunk it in the river. Then began clearing the jungle, first with machine guns, then bulldozers. Ripped the rainforest. Can probally google it. It was all for TP?
Talk about spoiled americans. How much paper do we throw away that could be used for wipe? Or let's step into the 21st century and learn how to wash after like some countries. We're still pretty crude with the TP thing.
I certainly don't hold the "boys' and GIRLS, fighting and dying for bush and his friends. Because they aren't doing it for you and me but if that's the propaganda you choose to believe? Goddess bless amerika!
I have learned, I have seen, I have researched.
Anything I say is based on those observations. The more areas of information you can gather from the better off you'll be. I feel SO BAD for the kids forced , (pressured, guilted) to go around the world to kill innocent people. Yes I know that's not their target the they "THEY, THE INNOCENT", have the HIGEST BODY COUNT. I say draft the congress and they're kids. What happened to the commander leading the fight???? Chickenhawk.

And here's my thought:
You really need to come up for a breath and smell the flowers.
Does it really matter how or why we get to celebrate Thanksgiving, and even if the story that’s told is true or not.
The idea here is in the word “Giving”. It allows us to take time off of work and share time, food, money and friendship with others that are less fortunate.
This is the time of year for the harvest and to share food with others. My mother was so poor as a child food was treated as money. The best honor you could give to someone was to have him or her over for dinner, especially if you were serving meat. She tells me there were nothing but smiles at the dinner table.
My family takes time to help those who have less. Shake one more hand with a stranger then on a normal day; help someone with their bags or across the street. Eat to you bust if that’s what you want, or just sit at home and spend the day thinking just how fortunate we really are.

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it cost when it’s free...now here come the taxes.....
Scott, I live in paradise, I'm happy,my friends are happy and I want nothing, for myself.
I'm giving all the time. Volunteer even though I catch a ton of flack. Water down my back. Those who appreciate have fully expressed it, public or privately. I'm not running for office, popularity or to be the first kahuna in 60 days.
I was just "giving" a perspective. one which you might not have seen?
I live opposite of those 7 sins above and life is bliss. I was just tryin to share the wealth.
