Oh here it does come
The ashes and smoke.
Run for your lives lil bunnies
This is no joke
The ground is a quaking
the lave appears
we'll be loosing our homes

At approximately 4:20 p.m., the plume turned reddish brown, as it again began to loft ash--composed mainly of rock fragments--from the vent. A small rockfall from the sides of the conduit could be the cause.
Are the youngsters at our house the only ones who thought this was funny???

Things must be calming down a bit as there is no update since 3-26. Hoping this is so.

I thought so, too, Mella; but it seems the web address has changed. When I use this one, it gets me to the April 2 update:

Janet thanks for the new address! The update is pretty extensive, and guess the the slow down was me not keeping up with the new address warnings! Mahalos

like what? looks normal to me - except that there's teensy bits of dark red - easy to miss at first glance. look up the hill northeast of RG for a teeny spot of fresh lava.
