Page updated today, 6-23. A ton has happened since framing ended. Wow, this month has flown by. One of the highlights was finishing exterior painting today. Hooray!

I wish you'd make a fly thru video and post it on youtube.

Your house is awesome.

Wonderful house! I am jealous,I confess.
So it took you almost 8 months?
Is it about what you expected?

Pretty much exactly 7 from the day I arrived. I was hoping 6 months. I will probably spend a month after I move in putting on finishing touches, installing a fence, and landscaping.

Yes,that's what they say -usually a months or so over..
That's why when I heard 4 months for my project,I am thinking 5-6...
Don't work too hard!

I updated it yet again, the floors are now about 80% installed with just one bedroom to go. I went with an engineered bamboo they recently started carrying as special order from Home Depot.
I think 4 months is doable if you have a simple project and everything lined up with no delays and everything passes inspections the first time. 6 is definitely more realistic.
