I like the gecko. Not as much as the AFLAC duck, but more than those Geico Cavemen.

Progressive denied my claim when my truck was burglarized over the summer. I have the minimal coverage as dictated by Big Brother but they still make me pay $1600 for my 2 trucks. Though I do feel fortunate- Kelton from Ace Auto Glass hook me up and replaced my passenger window for just $225. The other thing is I hardly drive. I go Big Island 4 times a year and drive the Dakota max 200 miles each time so that's 800 miles a year. I bought my Baja new 2 1/2 years ago and it has 4500 miles on the odometer! I figure if I can go State Farm or Allstate if I can show the rep the odometer they going give me a low rate figuring it's free money??
The reaction here says gotta check out GEICO though heard they spend all their mony on commercials!!
Others want to make friends- I just want to make money.

Make sure when comparing policies that you are also examining all the features, provisions, conditions, waivers, and addendum’s side by side before looking at the price. P&C Insurance companies are notorious for providing lower price quotes than their competitors by sweetly reducing or eliminating coverage without you being aware that it was done. The rely upon a consumers automatic enthusiasm over a sudden price reduction that they figure you may not look deeper into the policy. So, I would recommend when shopping for a replacement policy that you first obtain a complete listing of policy provisions along with policy rates for each item. Armed with that sheet, you can now ask for rates based on a duplicate policy, not just the commonly asked and covered items.
To use an example mentioned, your current policy can have a not at fault zero deductible where you pay $0 deductible if the accident wasn’t your fault. Your new policy could require you to pay that deductible no matter what and only get reimbursed if they recover it from the person at fault. Your current policy could have a immediate rental coverage for like class vehicle, while the new policy could be quoted with a covered rental after they process the claim and only for payment to cover a small rental car. Your old policy could cover full cost based on OEM by a dealer while the new one could be discounted after-markets at their “approved” (cheap as possible) vendors.
So as already mentioned, make sure you are comparing Fresh Picked Macintosh Apples Without Pesticides to Fresh Picked Macintosh Apples Without Pesticides.

Bob Orts said it all.
Just want to add an interesting fact.
I am happy with Farmers, but once I replied to 21st century offer to get a quote and $ 10 if they can not match the existing one.
Believe it or not, after reviewing our policy, they sent me $10 check.
But we had discounts for no accidents at all, many years being customers and multiple cars.
