We got to the point of ordering water, and I found out the price went up to $200. I shut off the pump and valves to the house and started filling jugs on our daily trips past the spigots (Thanks Harry).

After a week of spongebaths, paper plates, and no laundry; I'm stoked to have the pump back on. (Restrictions still in place)[Smile]

$200?? Who'd you order it from? We bought water for a client one week ago (July 11) and it was $135 for a full truck - 4000 gal.

Hope you'll still be posting links to your artist's of the "said time period".

And this rain... Argh! Have a big party to help with tomorrow. Hope it stops soon.... at least for a little while[Sad!]

Kapohocat,

More importantly, who do YOU order water from? I just asked one of the truck drivers filling up at the Pahoa spigots. I figured they all had gone up considerably from fuel costs.

Don't get me wrong... I like the rain, but when it pours like now... I'm not a big fan of it.

The only thing this helps for me... is to get me out of doing yardwork[8D]
