The zoo is having a birthday party! Great fun for kids & kids at heart! (ever sniffed around for the animal that smells like popcorn? Last years treasure hunt... we did!)

Thanks for the reminder! We visited not too long ago and saw the flyer for the birthday party, but had forgotten since then. We'll have to check it out, it sounds like fun

Carey do they need volunteers at the zoo also? Thinking of Damon's child and community service towards scholarship. Could always use children interested in the care of animals in the future also. Just an idea!

I really enjoyed our visit to the zoo about a month ago. Beautiful grounds, the animals seemed well-cared for. Loved the tiger.
I didn't even know there was a zoo on the BI. What a pleasant surprise. Whenever we get over there, I'll surely be a zoo supporter.
