Paint - without toxins and carcinogens?

I have been hearing about mythic and safecoat. Does any one have any experience using these products?

We have many so called Eco paints, and except for the new Zinsser paint"Pure White" interior and exterior blends (tintable.) This stuff has been certified to fight and dely mold and milew (like mercury used to). It's main ingredient is Limestone of some type. Good Stuff!

It's in the 30$ range, applies well, covers easily and wears well. Also very high in Tio (Titanium dioxide, the lead substitute) for UV protection.

I havent tried either of the ones you mentioned yet, however Home Depot now carries a no VOC paint called The Fresh Aire Choice. Just to warn ya, its garbage. After months of being on the wall it is still tacky. In fact a empty dry glass was on a table and came in contact with the wall. When the glass was picked up it took paint off the wall. We have safecoat for our bathroom but have not painted our bathroom yet. What we are using elsewhere in the house is American Clay. Its an amazing product and absolutely beautiful.

The clay is all natural and so are all the pigments. I dont know who sells it here, we brought ours with us, however I noticed a flyer in the ocean view health food store for someone that was installing it. Kinda spendy but a great product. We have had ours up for months with no mold. Also its kind of a live product when it comes to repairs. If you dont seal it, all you have to do is wet a sponge and you can easily fix nail holes, etc. You can also seal it so it could be used in bathrooms and kitchens. Puting the clay up isnt very technical however it is time consuming.
Im not sure why someone hasnt jumped on the "green train" and opened a natural home store here on the BI. With all the health food stores you would think one green home store would do very well.
Email and I can send pics of how one of the rooms turned out.

Kat,
Crush berries and mix them with olive oil.
If it doesn't cover well at least you can eat it[8D]

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it cost when it’s free...now here come the taxes.....
