New Punaweb Posting Policy

In the last couple of months I have fallen in love with this forum. I check it everyday with along with the news. The interactions here are better than any tv reality show That being said I too believe the new posting rule will help all of us "observers" get more useful information on the Puna area. Again I love this forum everyone is really unique and interesting here.

I appreciate you limiting the amount of posts.

Can someone continually post more then 5 posts per day until their post average ends up at 5 posts per day or more, as they have currently been doing?

I've noticed a certain poster, posting more then 8 - 9 posts per day since you capped the limit.

Should I delete much of my previous posts so that I can increase my posts here at punaweb so that I stay under the "quota"...?

I don't care to much about post counts as you should know by now. But If I need to delete many of my posts so that I can post as much as some other posters.... I can do that no problemo.

What's the choice? Me deleting old meaningful posts so that I can post more meaningful posts.... or capping those that are just ringing up posts w/ thank you letters that could be done off PW.? [?]

*edit* just deleted 10 previous posts and it didn't affect my posts per day. Oh well... so much for trying to be able to participate as much as others.[V]

I do believe that if we are honest with ourselves and focus in the INTENT of the new guideline that this will not be difficult for anyone who wishes to remain a member of this wonderful community.

If there are any out there who are latent 14 year olds who must challenge the detail for no specific purpose, let them fade away or be dealt with by Rob. Just let it go and get on with being us....

Damon, I have not seen you experience any difficulty posting as much as others. You have, in fact, posted more often and in greater number than anyone in Punaweb's short life. I have no idea what you might be talking about.

I guess if PAm. Rob, or I wanted to get our average up to 5 per day, we'd have to really get busy. Don't think that was the intent.
