In Hawaii, a North-facing panel will do better than South-facing at midsummer, but not during most of the year.

32 130 watt panels. All on tracker. Our tracker just turns. We point it east in the mornings and west in the evenings. In winter it starts at southeast, then south, then south west. We also have a wind generator. Today I'm off to install some panels for a friend, so he too can be off grid.
