Disability advice or information

Aloha,

I am new to Mountain View. I have Multiple Sclerosis MS and have been out of work on SSDI and LTD for almost 2 years. Back on the mainland, I participated in a clinical trail for a new drug to slow down the progression. The clinical trial ended and I finally moved out to stay this May.

This month I received a request for a “continuation of disability” interview from the LTD insurance company. In the little research I have done, I have learned to not meet at my home and to have a mediator or attorney present at the disability interview.

Does anyone on this forum have any experience with disability issues? Can anyone recommend a disability attorney or a mediator? Does anyone know of disability advocates in the Puna area
