Pretty easy to ship dog as checked baggage (in crate) on Hawaiian. $35 fee in addition to my ticket to bring Flash from Oahu to Hilo on my flight.

David,but the checked baggage should be not more than 70 pounds total(crate included)? Or not?

thank you all. will check out the leads/links provided. should have just tried to find out the info myself, but i'm in a flurry; am stressing and have anxiety. so much to do. looks like our move will be sometime in january of next year--a year earlier than expected. hope i don't have to put the dog's on a diet, stillhope.[
