Snoring story
#1
My partner has been complaining about my snoring. I came by this website
http://www.ripsnore.com/index.php

I remember using a mouthpiece like this in football. So I went to Walmart Sports department and bought this for $9.00

http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/produc..._nbr=69436&sku=1577-07&SID=8732&inceptor=1&cm_mmc=SEO-_-Feeds-_-Froogle-_-null

Used it last night. Wow it worked for me.
Note they look almost Identical.
This is just my experience.
I am not recommending you try this or professing that it is cure for
snoring simply my observation.[^]

Aloha
Wyatt

That is awesome! You may have saved your life!

I use a cpap machine to treat really bad sleep apnea.

I has changed my life totally.
I was like the walking dead before I got this treated.

I Richard have to use it, but if Mark keeps me awake with his snoring (now that I not snoring) he will be making a trip to Walmart.

Wyatt,
The difference between a regular mouth guard and the snoring device is this:
The device designed to stop snoring advances your lower jaw.

They are called mandibular advancement devices.

You can understand how they work if you will try breathing while jutting out your lower jaw. Compare how your airway becomes restricted if you try breathing with it retracted.

Snoring is caused by the soft tissues in your throat collapsing.
The devices that advance your lower jaw help some folks.

Sleep apnea is a very under diagnosed condition. It causes a host of health problems:
Low testosterone.
Enlarged heart
High BP
insulin resistance
and a host of other life altering ailments.

I hope that thing works for you, if not, please read more about the condition and you can treat your self.
It may just be that the mouth guard you are using works to keep your jaw from retracting and that is enough to solve your problem, if so, that's awesome!

Aloha esnap,
yes I read many site from snore mouthpieces and how they work. Having worn sports mouthpieces before I remember that
they kinda align your lower jaw forward. I have a slight overbite so I do feel slight pressure on my front teeth in the morning. It works for me. I hope it continues to work.

Aloha
