For my all important 1000th posting, I elected to make a serious posting to suggest a way to encourage and emphasize efforts toward a broader and more sustainable economy for Puna. I suggest a new group to work with and supplement the PCDP group. I propose this new group be given a name that clearly defines its objectives. I propose we name this group "Punans Organized To Help Economic Alternatives Develop Sustainably". What do you folks think?

No. A very bad, uninformed, and downright offensive idea for those of us who actually live here and are making a sincere effort to do something for our community.
I think if you actually lived in Puna you would make a posting that actually contributed something.
