Yep...I can't believe this....BUT.... in "anticipation" of high winds...they have closed most of the state except for the Big Island. They don't expect the high winds to get this far.

Will all the public employees get paid for not working? My prediction is that the "storm" will likely be far less intense than forecast.

They cancelled the wind warning at 10:00am. Was it worth closing the state down for the day?
I say it was a bad call and a waste of state money based on the information that was given them at the time.
