PW e-mail

Rob,can you tell us,please, the e-mail situation on PW?
It has not been working for a long time.

So far our checking into it has not shown any direct problems. A few tweaks have been made but when we test the emails go through. PW has no control over members email addresses or thier status.

So far it tests okay.

From what I can tell the last changes fixed the problem, please post up specific problems...
who was the mail from...
who was it to...
and when it was sent.

I have to say that PW will not get too involved in being Post Office.
If the email system becomes a distraction and no apparnet repairs can be made it will likely be shut down. Which means we will not be spending too much time tracking everyone's emails.

I've been receiving Emails through PW of late.

I'm just a bit selective as to who I return the email too.

I e-mailed Dave Smith to thank him for the post.About 2 hr ago.
Received a standard "failure" notice .I has been like that for me for a very long time.
I usually forward the failure notice to the e-mail address in it,but it's tiresome.

Rob/Jon,if it's just my account,i can live without it .Don't waste your time .
