Nursing Assistant classes need some help
#1
Hi everyone, I haven't written for quite a while! After struggling for over 5 months to find full time registered nurse work I decided to step out in faith and take a gigantic leap. I will be starting my own state approved nursing assistant training course in Hilo starting Feb. 9th. I've done this exact thing in Wyoming for 14 years so it's not anything I'm an amateur at. We had decided to try this before giving up and moving back to the mainland using our tax return! Anyway...I'm showing some success and have 6 enrolled for the first class but need some more supplies. I'm not asking for handout but looking for less expensive used such. Here ius a list of what I need for the classroom. If anyone knows anyone who might want to part with any of these things, have them call me or Mike at 315-7886. Mahalo!!!! Linda Bowman

Linda, one post on Feb 3 Craigslist has had most of the stuff you are looking for, all very reasonable (in the $10-$40 range)

What criteria are you using to do your search on Craigslist? (or this may be more than you are willing to pay.... but then it seems you are looking for the items to be donated.... do you have a NFP tax id for those who are looking to donate, or do you want people to donate to your business startup?)

Carey, I would say that over 90% of the time when I email someone back on Craig's list, they never contact me. If they don't have phone numbers listed, I have not other way to contact them. I am willing to pay, I just can't afford for everything to be brand new right now. I did receive a computer printer and microwave today. Those were greatly appreciated. Linda Bowman
