Good walking "sandal shoes"
#1
I need a pair of good walking "sandal shoes" - hubby has a pair of Keen's he loves, but we can't find any here. I see from Keen site they're sold at Hilo Bay Paddler, but they tell me they only have a few in stock. Anyone know of other retailer, or suggestions for similar kind of shoe? New Year's resolution is to walk more.

I have a pair of these from Skechers, really like them. A bit pricey, though. Got them at famous footwear.

I had to quit on my Tevas. Not enough arch support. I ordered a pair of orthotic slippahs from Amazon. Much bettah.

Daniel,
what brand did you get? I need mega arch support and have finally worn out all of my Bites (a great orthotic outdoors sandal that was bought out by Crocs and then shut down) and really need new sandals before school starts back up.

All good advice - much mahalo! I also need good (and high) arch support. I like the regular skechers footbed - so I'll check out famous footwear. Last I went in there, they didn't have anything for me, but that was a while back. I don't mind paying for something that'll work.

Orthaheel.
They have a pretty good arch support which also helps my pronation and fasciaitis. If I have alot of walking to do I wear my Merrells.

I bought a pair of Teva from Zappos.com a few weeks ago. They too have free shipping to HI.

Have you checked out Famous Footwear's website? You can check to see if they have the shoe(s) and size(s) you're looking for at a particular location.
