Volume 1:
Is it mongoose of mongeese?:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoose:
A mongoose (plural: mongooses[2] or, rarely, mongeese[3]) is a member of the family Herpestidae (although also used for some members of Eupleridae), a family of small, cat-like carnivores.
Well any roads, thanks to Vicki B. for the idea of trapping the little rascals that have been plaguing my property and A BIG MAHALO to Mr. Buzz for the links to the "How to trap a critter" links that he posted using a box trap. His links don't do justice however to the process in a simple Step-By-Step supplemented with nifty photos and easy to follow steps for creating and executing a Box Trap to capture the little devils.
So the kernel was planted in my fevered mind to produce such a Box Trap and put it to the ultimate test right here in our beloved Puna, Big Island of Hawaii.
So stay tuned for Step-By-Step how-to's using as little $$$ as possible...
Wish me luck
Alohaaaaaaaaaaaa,
Andrew
