Standard Insurer in Lava Zone 2 - Now Active

Aloha Everyone,

There is opportunity to put potentially thousands of dollars back in the pockets of Puna residents. I am now offering Homeowners insurance plans in lava zone 2 with price equal to those found outside of high risk lava zones. This program is for owner occupied homes only; no rentals and no lava zone yet.

I just reduced a Hawaiian Shores resident's premium by 1/2 saving them $1,200 a year with this new insurer. This insurer has not applied for an AM Best financial rating but has a Demotech financial rating of A, Exceptional (HPIA and Zephyr are unrated by both rating companies). I expect that their capacity will fill quickly so take advantage now.

I will not give too many details here as I don't want other brokers to copy our program. Please call or email your home address to me for a quote. If you can send your current declarations page that is even better. I will be contacting my current Lava Zone customers individuallly and will be very busy; I may not have much time to update this post.

Lack, I thanks for your online quote request. I just droped the hard copy in the mail to you as we discussed. If you have any feedback that you can share here please do.

Dave, The program is currently only for owner occupied homes. I'll make a new post if it becomes open to rentals. For now the best you can do is move the policies to the Lloyd's program. I can quote those for you if you send me you current declarations pages.

We went to see Dan about our insurance in LZ2, Nanawale. What a delight, He saved us over 1600. over our old policy. He is head and shoulders above our ex agent who threw an absolute fit over our switching, event though it saved us major money and put us with a company that falls under the Hawaii guarantee program. Our ex agent then tells me "oh ya, we don't write with that company anymore, and had no answer when I asked then why didn't you let us know. We were quite happy with Dan, excellent product knowledge and very pro-active.
