Today is my special anniversary! On a cold snowy day thirty years ago I boarded a TAROM flight with two empty suitcases in Hungary and headed to New York. It was probably my last chance to escape from the "Communist Paradise." My English vocabulary was limited to "Yes" and "No" and "I Love You!" (Nobody cared about the latter.) [

Big Happy to you John!! I can remember when you posted the 25th on the "OTHER" site. It was just a few weeks later Cathie and I were sitting with you at Huggo's in Kialua-Kona talking real-estate and you hooked us up with your east-side rep. The rest was history!

John, I admire your patriotism and your story. Congrats on 30 years! I have learned a lot from you and I know I am not the only one! Sometimes people take their citizenship for granted. We should never do that and your story is yet another reminder of how lucky we are to live in a free country and on such a great island of course!
