But I can see what caused the misunderstanding.
It still should have been "assume the best.."
Oceanfront is traditionally an area of wealthy people.
And wealthy people usually get their project going at nice speed.
I guess it's difficult for them to understand why someone in their
neighborhood is different.
And it's a fact that upscale neighborhoods have different standards
for an "eye sore".
