Won the Lotto, want to change the world and Seriously considering making an offer on an FM radio station in Hilo for bold new format in Big Island brodcasting and looking to see the local opinions first.
Public radio type format with lots of lesser known & rarely if ever played artist in the too little played Clasic Alternative area but also world music, Oldies, blues, clasic rock, locals artist,"oddie's" & serious talk on local politics, minority issues & global subjects.
Brian Eno & Peter Gabriel are musical mentors to this project and the Global Village is our intended audience. Listener input will be greatly encouraged. Music trivia smarts will be used to win $$, new music, educational opportunities, world travel and encourage listeners to investigate new (and old) mind expanding music and topical news to encourage and further our format and the mind expansion of our intended audience.
Recent great luck makes business only second to seeing the big picture of Lucky Dog/New Island Radio come to life, . There will be regular cash giveways as well as chances to win paid tuition for things like Nursing and other degrees, pay off student loans and win actual eco-homes in new Eco-friendly developments.
This is not going to be about just making money but we believe our format of daily giving away cash and often scholarships and even small neighborhoods, one home eco-home at a time. it's about changing the world a little at a time with music & sound starting with the Big Island as a micro-environment to show the world how it can be done.
This is a grand experiment and I am seeking input. I believe Hilo is the best place in the USA to start a base of operations for this type of operation. OK, give me input folks. Sincerely, Mo Allen
