OK, Here is my advice,
Emily, fire your staff, they are giving you bad information (protect us from manditory flu shots? no such thing) Please hire someone who is more "mainstream" and akamai in the interests of your diverse constituents.
Forget about Steamvents. It's overpriced, and it's location and geology will inhibit development. Can it handle much larger crowds than it gets now anyway?
Instead, spend less money to get more, by developing the land in Pahoa that we already have. This would have an immediate and lasting positive impact on the shops, restraunts, and other local businesses.
Be careful with your Pohoiki development plans; Our keiki need a safe place to swim, but the area targeted now is the home to a large group of endangered sea Turtles.
Mahalo for voting for no waste to energy plant, and for the plastic bag ban.
