A couple of more examples from my shopping trip today to gather stuff for an Easter dinner. Those cans of french-fried onion rings (that go into the casseroles) are $5.69 at Safeway....and $2.67 at Walmart...same size can/same brand. Also, the large cans of cut up yams (I don't use these but I happened to notice)...again same exact brand....$4.20 (on sale) at Safeway....$1.14 at Walmart. Say what you want about Walmart....but having the new larger food section there really helps.
