Possible solution. What is the minimum sized building that HELCO will hook up to with their power drop? It may be better to make a usable structure and underground conduit from that to your eventual subpanel. I have been trying to get Hawaiiantel to respond to this same issue and still waiting to hear back. I don't like the look of a pole, and if I need the small building anyway ( I do) I can make it without drilling down into blue rock. Hoping this is my phone line solution, maybe it could be yours as well.
