I think many really have no idea how the US Census count impacts their everyday life. Looking pass just federal items, states and local governments often depend on Census numbers to make representation and tax funding returns on local issues. Imagine the clout of the Puna District if every resident was counted!

Now, one question, is this latest conversation on the census worker arrest the same incident that started the thread? If so, the events seem to have changed big time.
