Best Place to rent a house in Puna?

Recently purchased a 1 acre lot w/ a small house in Eden Roc on a paved road, just down the street from the fire station and park. Bought it sight unseen except for having a neighbor take pictures for me. paid 7,500 so i couldn't pass it up. Anything good or bad to say about Eden Roc? Any of the other subdivisions better or worse? Currently in Arizona with a couple years left to getting my first pension, and looking forward to moving someday....

We are looking at vacationing on the big island for a couple of weeks in June and renting a house. Where is the best place to rent near or on the ocean? Been looking at Kapoho.... Any suggestions and info would be great...
