Cucumbers

Those are probably pickler worms. The bane of my gourds and cukes! They chomp into the stem of the squash or pumpkin if they can't get at the fruit. Different varieties do better. I'm going to try the Kabocha. The Japanese cukes might do better too. Screen works great, but is tricky w/ the gourd families unless you drape the whole area.
