Honestly, I was thinking about going, and bringing my work crew of about 10 people; I would be willing to pay a couple of bucks. But $10 is WAY too steep! For $10, people would expect actual FOOD- Luau pig, fruit salad, dessert- etc.
If this is for all the "yurt people", rather the general public maybe. But I can get enough information online, and cook my own meal for 10, for far less than $100!
Not everyone can appreciate the amazing people that have traveled to get here, or how much work was put into it. I've been to many events similar to this one, and when charging that much, people expect a certain level of food, entertainment, etc. If you are talking about providing an event for people already committed, educated and interested in yurts, this would probably fly-- but I wouldn't really expect many new faces for $10 a pop.
