This may come as shock to the anti-gun crowd here, but one can both enjoy shootings sports and water sports such as diving and snorkeling or ocean kayaking. They are not mutually exclusive. And just as an item of information, firearms designed to fire loose powder exclusively are exempt from the whole permit process. Therefore a 6 six shot 44 caliber revolver shooting 40 grains of FFG and a 430 grain slug does not take all the stupidity the same revolver in a 44 center fire does. Just as reliable, just as deadly, weighs about the same. Go figure.
