Guns in Hawaii

The way I see it - Hawaii had a change in direction and culture when firearms arrived - I believe it to be a British canon acquired by the indigenous peoples that made the mess in Io valley..... and so many other spots.

Local sensitivities about firearms (and the cultures that introduced them so much other destruction of the native way of life) may have been affected - with good reason imho
