Ummmm.... this is not high school... it is college. You register for a class. If you don't like the class you drop it. He made it clear he uses these words in his first two classes to make a point. If the student doesn't get the point, they don't belong in that classroom. If enough students don't like the teaching method, word spreads and his classes become thiner until there is no longer a need for the instructor. Punishing a professor because someone's daddy complained is just plain inappropriate. The student could have left class if she didn't like it. Seems to me the instructor said as much. Works for me! Yes, I am from a liberal background, but college instructors are not Sunday School teachers; they aren't supposed to be. In fact, a large part of their job is to get students to think, question, evaluate. Sounds like the instructor was doing his job just fine.
