Good walking "sandal shoes"

Everyone tells me I'm abusing my feet, but they're just as comfortable wearing a pair of "Rainbows" all day long as any arch supporting shoe:

They last long enough for the foam to crush down where your weight goes, so you get a "custom fit" arch support after they break in. The only problem I have with them is if I'm walking long distances (think a mile+) in loose sand terrain, the sand gets inbetween the strap and my foot and rubs a raw spot - you would think it would callous, but I guess I don't do it often enough.

There were other brands I liked 25+ years ago when I started wearing flip-flops daily, but Rainbow is the only one I can still find.
