Fish Die off in Kapoho

Okay so the fish kill was in the newspaper last week but last night was talking to someone who lives in HI Acres and that same day as the fish die off here, a big bubble of mud came up in their HA pond and killed a bunch of their fish too. The water lilies around this mud blob are also dying now.

Any thoughts? Any one else have this experience?
