I would love to see Hot Tuna (acoustic), but $50 is too much for me. I've seen most all of whom I consider the greats, and never paid over $35. MY income hasn't gone anywhere but south in the interim, and $25 is about it.
If you could get Jackson Brown doing his Solo acoustic or David Gray or Van Morrison I would up the ante. I've never seen Gray, and I'd love to see Jackson or Van again for the 10th time or so.
To think it only cost $6 to see the Beatles, Stones and Dylan the first time.
In '67, I paid $65 to go to the Monterey Pop Festival. That bought me RT transport from LA. two nights hotel, and admission to all five concerts which in included a few dozen of the greatest in the world at that time. Plus a full three days of admission to the festival going on outside the ampitheatre.
Yes I do know things cost more now, but that sure was good value!
