Volcano for visitors daytrip?

Yep make them get out of the car and walk a bit cause the park can't be experienced from the car.
If they are lazy then def. take them to Visitor Center, Art Center, short suflur banks walk, Jaggar Museum, Thurston Lava tube (bring flashlights and go all the way back), and def. the Petroglyph trai. If weather and conditions are right head back to Jaggar Museum at sundown to see if you can see evening glow from Halema Crater. If you find yourself w/ tons of time left over maybe go as far west as Black Sand Beach.
