What a great thing for Ka'u. If it can be done well, it will make a whole mini industry for them. Its great to see our island moving more and more to self reliance. We can easily grow all our own food, and wouldn't it be great to make all our own energy! Having lived off grid now for a few years I can tell you it feels great on a personal level. What a great example we would be for everyone else to follow if our whole population lived that way!
