Solar cars don't work in the dark, and batteries don't last all night.
Electric cars also don't work in the cold. What if you were stuck in one of those recent snowstorms/blizzards and were in an electric car? You wouldn't have heat very long, would you?
While solar, wind and electric cars sound all exciting, they are simply not practical.
Fuel cell technology will probably be the next step. You may be surprised that the oil companies have been investing in the technology for some time.
