Shipman is not a person. Shipman is a corporation. There is nothing more un-Amercan than the arbitrary seizure of private property. But in the case of Shipman, it is the increase of population in Puna which has made this marginal land a great asset to that corporation. I feel that it is Shipman's civic duty, and to their economic interest, to donate a small amount of their holdings for the benefit of all concerned. Terry chambers, Pahoa
