ishkabibble, i totally agree with you. i drove toyotas for years until i had to deal with BIT. there is no such thing there as loyalty to their customers. the service clerk was probably chuckling to herself. she could have asked you if you checked the spare. this is what a reputable dealer would have done. many many times the service clerk at honda or suburu which i now own would tell me "sounds like...." saving me alot of money. if you think the service is bad... talk to them about buying a car... ouch!!!![!]
