Article on Hawaii Gas Prices

I have long been an a supporter of 6.00 or 7.00 per gallon of fossil based fuel or even higher. We waste so much of the stuff, increasing taxes on fuel would provide cash for infrastructure and incentive for conservation.

A higher oil price would also support solar and alternative energy development that today is not financially attractive due to cheap costs of fossil fuels.
