McDonalds in Pahoa?

I visit McDonald's every time I am in Hilo for the best deal in the world. The side salad is great....large with various types of lettuce (including romaine, red, etc.) grape tomatoes and carrots. They use Paul Newman's dressings, and the Lite Italian is to die for. For $1.04 (tax included) you get a largish very fresh salad, dressing and croutons. A perfect lunch. You cannot make a salad for that price...especially with the dressing. I always have a few of these salads in my fridge and often jazz them up with whatever else I have lurking around. I don't think that Pahoa needs a McDonald's, but it probably is going to happen at some point.

BTW...stay away from Burger King's side salad. It is small, only iceberg lettuce and they put some awful cheese on it and it is twice the price.
