Yeah, whenever this comes up in conversation, I always ask straight people, "Tell me about the day you chose to be straight..."

And I must confess, on first reading the "choices and lifestyle" comment I had the same reaction as Lokahi, but then when I re-read it, I interpreted it the same way Kathy's did --, being gay isn't a choice, but the way you live your life is.
