Why was your dog not on a leash or inside your yard ?

One last little point,I am a very good driver and once raced cars,I don't think I could drive 45 mph on that road and and swerve towards someones dog and live through it!!

So you are saying someone was driving 45 mph down your driveway and hit your dog??
Big driveway !

I am not unsympathetic, I just find your story hard to believe.

I guess I am being misunderstood. How could this dog have been hit by a car going 45 mph when the dog was on the owners property?

As a person who has been chased by dogs while riding my bicycle and was bitten on the leg, I am less than tolerant when it comes to people who let their dogs run loose.

I just came back from driving Government Beach Road. The private property and all of the gates are at least 20 feet back from the edge of the road. There is no place along there where the private property comes close to the edge of the road.

I am sorry, but this dog had to be in the road and not on private property.

Sorry for your loss but it would not have happened if your dog was on a leash or actually on your own property.

I am posting the above posts by Obie that I just copied from this thread.
The last time Obie got into trouble with his blaming Obie deleted and changed every post he had made on the thread. What a cowardly thing to do, post blames and then delete the things you posted so nobody can see how off base you were. Search "OLG Rant" and see how Obie deleted and changed the wording on his posts there. If you read the replies you can get the gist of what Obie was saying and what he deleted.
I just want to have the above posts on this thread in case Obie decides to delete what he has said.

Obie, instead of deleting and changing your posts, why not apologize?
