My heart goes out on the loss of your pet. I would be crushed.
As for Obie and Pog: I recall last new years eve I posted here after a guy in a white Jeep Cherokee with Oregon plates deliberately and consciously ran over a dog right in front of me in HPP. I was walking my dogs and this dog had started following me then walking in front of me. The dog was about 20 feet in front of me when it was hit. It was a large dog and the driver definitely saw it because after hitting it he drove up to me and said " you should leash your dog." then sped off. Sad part was I later learned that the sky's owner had died and no one had been taking care of it so it busted out of it's pen (probably followed me thinking I would feed him.)
When I posted about it on PW there were a lot of folks who said it was the dog's fault!!!! Other people who werent there then started false claims into the mix, saying the dog was chasing chickens etc. My point is that people on this site can be heartless and cold. but some are genuinely caring. My experience is that Obie and Pog are the former not the latter. If it were my dog that was killed I'm not sure I would even say anything here because those two are so heartless I would be all the more devastated by the bile they post.
Again, know that there are those out there who feel for you in your time of loss.
