If you are on the verge of loosing your license due to too many points better have a lawyer that is good at traffic type offenses and follow their advice for sure. Don't leave it up to chance. Not showing up to court will make things even worse.
Also everyone watch the stretch of road heading north of Hilo for about 15 miles cause it doesn't actually allow 55 mph until later on. Police love to set up a speed trap there w/ multiple squad cars. I got stopped for going 60 in a 45 mile per hour zone and was real polite and said I wasn't aware of my speed and got let off w/ a warning probably my Colorado license said I wasn't worth a ticket. Then I got back on the road and went the speed limit and felt like I was moving like a turtle
So short story to that, watch all posted speed limit signs and pay attention!!!!
