Yes, the .44 mag revolver, and to a lesser extent semi-auto, is very popular for hunting pigs as well as deer size game. They are not easy to conceal. I also have a .44mag snubbie and even it's too big and heavy to conceal anywhere other than in a northern climate in the winter. I'm not sure what jackson's issue with semi-autos is. I'm more of a revolver person myself and I used to pride myself for being able to out shoot the young guys and their semi-autos with my old S&W 629 wheel gun. However, I do enjoy a good 1911. I would like to find a limited capacity magazine for my old S&W 669 so I can bring it and comply with Hawaii law. It was my carry/BU gun and then my car gun for so long (27yrs) it's too beat up to have any real resale value so I might as well keep it. jackson, you seem to have some kind of sexual fascination with guns. Some counseling might be of benefit for you.
