Okay, fair enough, as long as he follows the rules it's fine by me.
In my opinion they avoided direct democracy back then because it wasn't practical, but now it is.
Of course, it's only what's in the Constitution that counts, but it can change.

I have another question. If Paul does not get more delegates than Romney (which seems likely) then how will that benefit Paul? I see talk of Romney having to adopt some of Paul's policies, but why would he? Isn't it winner take all?
