They run multiple helicopters in shifts. They're close enough to the ground that it sets off the birds that the property owner here keeps (peacocks / macaws) to such a degree that I can't hold phone meetings (I work from home so this is an issue). In my case it's more of an annoyance but one that has no upside (at least the tour lines bring in revenue for the community)
The War on Drugs has not limited the crime rate or done anything to lower the amounts of pot in the area (much like prohibition in the early 20th century). But as long as it's for "safety", "the children" or "hard on crime" (or the russians used to like "for a better future") then let our nanny state do whatever it feels like regardless of the price or efficiency?
